Contestants must make a minimum of one gallon of ice cream. We got several million people wanting a taste and you know every one going to want some of yours!

No, nada, nope, don't ask, can't do it, won't let you, NO RAW EGGS! (city requirement)

Can I make my ice cream at home? Yes. If you would like to do make it ahead of time, no problem. You can also make it on site, we furnish all the salt and ice you need.

Please do not pour out the salt water in the street, use the sink on the south east side of the MPAC (Mckinney performing arts center).

The competition is open to the public and pre-registration is not required. Contestants should arrive by 10 a.m. with an ice cream freezer and pre-mixed ingredients. Tasting cups and spoons are provided for a minimum of $3.00 donation to the McKinney Education Foundation. You may certainly donat more, it is tax deductible and you can give a check payable to Mckinney Education Foundation.

Tasting will start promptly at 12:00 noon.

Announcement of winners and trophies will be awarded at 1:30.
